Instructions for use

Take 1 to 2 bars a day, according to your desires and protein requirements (+18 years).

Avoid consuming too late in the day, due to the presence of caffeine in the formula.

This snack can be consumed before or after a sports session to fill up on energy and protein, or simply as a snack when you feel a little hungry during the day.

Precautions for use

Why is the Protein Bar interesting for weight loss?

The Protein Bar is an ideal healthy snack as part of a balanced diet. Proteins are essential for getting back into shape, as they are the main building blocks of muscle fibers. As such, they help maintain muscle mass, which is often lost when losing weight. This bar allows you to fill up on protein in one go (15 g per bar), while limiting its intake of sugars (2.4 g per bar) and calories (121 kcal). To give you an idea, a 30 g portion of almonds (the same weight as our bar) represents around 180 kcal and only 7 g of protein. In addition, green tea extract has been added to the formula to help limit excess weight. In fact, rich in EGCG and caffeine, it promotes fat burning, helping you to lose weight effectively.

Why choose soy protein?

This is the plant with the highest plant protein content. After numerous laboratory tests, soy was the best compromise for a protein-rich vegan bar that's as high-quality as it is pleasant to eat (crunchy texture, taste). In addition, to ensure the quality of the soy used, non-genetically modified (GMO-free) soy was selected.

What is the origin of the sugar used?

The Protein Bar has a low sugar content. In fact, it contains 2.4g of sugars, all of which come from dark chocolate. To make the bar a little more indulgent, we added a thin layer of chocolate and a few sprinkles mixed with puffed soybeans.

Why did you use sweeteners in the formula?

One of the major challenges in developing this product was to offer a pleasant taste while ensuring a low sugar content and low calorie intake. This was all the more complex once the decision to opt for vegetable proteins had been taken. The decision was therefore made to use maltitol (from wheat and corn) and oligofructoses (from chicory), both of which have the advantage of being of natural origin and having a lower sweetening power than sugar. They add a hint of sweetness to the Protein Bar, while maintaining the sensation of a healthy snack. What's more, the quantities of maltitol and oligofructoses included in the bar are fairly limited (just a few grams), which helps to avoid the digestive discomfort that generally occurs with larger quantities. Maltitol is also a well-supported sweetener for which a great deal of hindsight has been gained, as it is the one used in a whole range of gummies.

Are there any allergens in this product?

The Protein Bar has been formulated with soy protein, an ingredient considered an allergen only for people allergic to soy. Apart from soy, no other allergens are included in the composition of this product. In fact, it has not been formulated using milk proteins or gluten. What's more, the Protein Bar does not contain hazelnuts, the choco-hazelnut taste being provided naturally by a flavoring. It should be noted, however, that Protein Bars are manufactured on equipment that may also contain gluten, soya, milk, eggs, nuts, sesame and peanuts.
