A wash designed for delicate baby skin
The Umaï gentle baby solid wash is an ultra-gentle body and hair cleanser, specially formulated to protect delicate baby skin from birth. Its rich texture transforms into a generous, creamy lather, cleansing gently without drying, while leaving a natural 'baby skin' fragrance.
Why does baby skin need adapted care?
Baby skin is approximately three times thinner than adult skin. The protective barrier is not yet fully formed, the hydrolipidic film is still developing, and sebum production is insufficient. The result is skin that is more permeable, prone to dryness, and more vulnerable to external aggressors. This is why it requires particularly gentle and respectful care.
This solid wash has been designed to meet these specific needs. Suitable from birth, it gently cleanses both body and hair whilst protecting the skin barrier. Its formula is enriched with very mild surfactants, suited to sensitive baby skin, for confident daily use.
A clean, respectful formula
This solid wash is formulated with 94.3% natural-origin ingredients. It is vegan, allergen-free, soap-free, gluten-free, alcohol-free, and preservative-free. Its physiological pH respects the natural balance of baby skin. The concentrated solid format offers 2 to 3 months of use from an 80 g bar.
The formula contains just 10 ingredients, 5 of which are produced in France, for full transparency. The packaging is FSC-certified and 100% recyclable.
Carefully selected natural-origin ingredients
Plum butter, obtained from plum kernels harvested each year at the end of summer in Gascony, South-West France, nourishes and softens hair and skin. Sweet almond oil, sourced from Spain, nourishes and enhances shine. The fragrance, crafted in Grasse, features a soft, green floral musky note with bergamot and orange blossom, a floral heart of rose and jasmine, and a soft, shimmery musky base, leaving that characteristic natural 'baby skin' scent.
A no-sting formula
This gentle baby wash has been designed not to irritate babies' sensitive eyes. Its ultra-gentle, allergen-free formula produces a light lather that cleanses delicately without causing stinging or tears. You can wash hair and face with complete peace of mind, even for the youngest babies, turning bath time into a truly comforting moment of closeness.

This gentle baby wash can also be suitable for adults with sensitive skin or a sensitive scalp.
